Don't miss out on our topic for the upcoming meeting in May! This is something that is beneficial for all ages and prepares everyone for many different emergencies.
Someone from the Grayslake Fire Department will be coming to talk about fire safety. He will discuss how to talk to your kids about fire safety and how to plan an escape route. He a will also briefly talk about smoke detectors and fire extinguishers and be able to answer any questions anyone has.
The fire department will also pair up with someone from The Lake County Emergency Management Agency. They will be discussing what to do in different kinds of emergencies (tornado, polar vortex, terrorist attacks, etc.). They will talk to us about how to prepare for them and how to talk to your kids about them.
As always: Support/Social Hour begins at 6:30 pm
Speaker begins at 7:30 pm
Babies under 1 yr old are welcome to attend with you.
Please note that this meeting will take place in the Multi Purpose Room instead of the library! (Head to the left when entering the building)
Hope to see many of you there!
